I forgot how much I loved this lifestyle photography session. I absolutely love when families invite me into their homes and let me photograph them in their element. In this session, with the exception of a few posed shots, I just found the pretty light (and set up some flash) and let the kids play away. These little ones were so creative and fun, there was so much joy.
Lifestyle sessions are some of my favorite, if interested, I would love to provide you with more information.
This is a long post, I couldn’t help myself. Enjoy the sweetness and I look forward to hearing from you!
Your kids are only this little once, and I can assure you as the saying goes, even though the days do feel long, it goes fast. So fast. I would love to come photograph your family in their element and help to create lasting memories from the days when they are teeny. It is such a fun, exhausting, sweet, and loving time and a time to cherish.
Thank you for stopping by and checking this session out. I look forward to connecting with you about your photographs.
What to Expect
If you book a lifestyle photography session, you can expect to have me in your home for a couple hours. It takes me a little time to set up and find the right places that help make your session a success. When I arrive, I will look around your home for good light and places that will photograph well. I will also set up my own off camera flash to help add a little light. Even the best lit home often need a little extra light so that I can photograph the kids moving around a little more easily. From there, let the kids play!
A HUGE thank you to all the wonderful families that came out to the Le San Michele mini-sessions last night. It was absolutely gorgeous, I could not of asked for anything more.
I am now excited to announce the second round of mini-sessions on April 7th at Balcones District Park in North Austin. This park is one of my favorites and is a great, easy spot for gorgeous wildflower photos. I love the light at this park and am so excited to be hosting a round of minis this year.
This session has not been advertised, but is already over half full, so please let me know if you would like a session! You can contact me through the contacts page of my website. I look forward to hearing from you and photographing your gorgeous family. OH and this park is dog friendly, if you want bluebonnet photos of your favorite fur baby, that works too!
Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to connecting with you about photographs. Please contact me via the contacts page of my website. I will host one more round of wildflower mini-sessions in late April, but these will be more wildflower, less bluebonnet.
This fall family mini-session photography session will just make you smile. There is so much love, laughter, and sweet moments from this session. This little man started off being a little shy, but by the end of the session he was running the show and being silly. I absolutely loved working with him and his sweet parents.
I have a couple new mini-sessions coming up! One is THIS SATURDAY at the gorgeous Le San Michele in Buda Texas. Why Buda? Because when you go a little out of town, the wildflowers just get better. I have one micro mini-session left for this session, and I can always add more time if there is a lot of interest!!
Also, an in-town mini-session will be happening on April 7th. I have 2 spaces left for that one! If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible and I will get you on the schedule.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed all of the cuteness. I can’t wait to get this next round of seasonal minis started, and I hope you will join me. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to hearing from you!
This cuteness comes from a fall mini-session at the Zilker Botanical Gardens. The sun was shining just perfectly and this little baby just couldn’t be any cuter. I love all the laughs, snuggles, and all around adorableness. Aren’t babies just the cutest. This is one of my favorites times to photograph babies, they can sit up, but they can’t go anywhere. It is a short little window of photography ease.
In the fall, I offer a variety of mini-session options ranging from Zilker Botanical Gardens, to urban spots, to places our in the country. It is so fun to photograph families in all different settings, and I’m already looking forward to next seasons mini-session madness. But in the interim, I am hosting a series of spring mini-sessions. Even though it is not holiday season, it is a beautiful time for photographs.
I have a couple sessions coming up that still have space on March 25th and on April 7th. Join me!
I look forward to working with you and you families this spring. I still have some openings and would love to photograph you! Contact me today for information regarding spring availability and mini-session information. Thank you for stopping by!
I am so excited about the upcoming Le San Michele Wildflower Mini-Session. I have three spots left for this mini-session coming up on March 25th at the beautiful Le San Michele. It is a totally customizable mini-session with lots of options for time. If you are looking for something super short, you can do a 10 minute mini, or if you want a little more time you can do a 30 minute mini. There are a lot of options.
Come make the drive out to beautiful Le San Michele to get the good wildflowers. It’ll be amazing.
Join the cuteness and fun! I have available, 1 longer session and two shorter sessions.
Is a Mini-Session Enough Time?
Yes. Mini-sessions are great ways to update your photograph and grab some awesome photos of your little ones as they grow and change. Mini-sessions, however, are not a substitute for a full family session. If you are looking for something more lifestyle or at a specific location, let’s discuss a full family session.
I will be offering another round of minis on April 7th, stay tuned for more details.
I look forward to hearing from you and as always I appreciate you stopping by and checking out the blog.
Beautiful Light Family Photography. I am SO in love with the images from this mini-session last fall. Everything just fell into place and the lighting was pure magic. I always tell people, if they can, to do evening photographs right before sunset. The lighting can be gorgeous, it is what is referred to as the golden hour.
On top of the extra special lighting that evening, was this ADORABLE little one. She was all smiles and independence and made photographing her a lot of fun. Her little smile is just the cutest. I just loved working with this sweet family.
Texas Keeper Cider
Last fall I hosted two round of mini-sessions at the amazing Texas Keeper Cider in Manchaca. This place is awesome. I hope to host more sessions out there soon. Check them out and try some of their delicious cider.
Enjoy the cuteness and let me know if you are interested in an upcoming mini-session. Thank you!
Come join me for my next round of Mini-Sessions on March 25th at Le San Michele in Buda, TX. I only have a few spots left! It will be gorgeous out there in the spring with lots of greenery and wildflower goodness. I cannot wait to get those started.
Getting the perfect light can be tough, unfortunately, we have no control over the weather. Every type of light has its own advantage. If I have room in my schedule, I am more than happy to accommodate your needs. If you can schedule around the perfect sunset, let’s do it. But, don’t be afraid of overcast days or even rainy days, the light can be gorgeous then too, it is just different. When clients ask me the best time, I always say the evening though. I love the evening light and will recommend it over morning anytime.
Last fall I hosted on of mini-sessions at the exterior of the beautiful Union on the 8th in Georgetown, TX. It was SUCH a fun spot for a mini, it was super simple and who doesn’t love this turquoise door?
I also LOVE working with this family. I have photographed them here and there over the years and it is always a hilarious adventure. They are just the kindest, funniest people.
Anyway, enjoy this cuteness. I love, love, love this session. Thank you Union on Eighth for allowing us to use your beautiful exterior.
Le San Michele Mini-Sessions
I still have some availability in my March 25th super fast Wildflower mini-sessions at Le San Michele. It may be a bit out of the city, but sometimes you have to drive to get to the pretty. Join me for 10-minute minis and get some wonderful photographs of your cutie. It’ll be lots of fun!
I do mini-sessions a little differently than most photographers in town. Although the session is short, it is more than enough time to get LOTS of gorgeous fun photos. I do not limit the number of photographs you can receive during your session. If it is a good photo, it is yours. In the spring and summer I often offer shorter, more traditional mini-sessions if you are interested in something like that.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
They are kids right? Kids love to be uncooperative during photo sessions, it’s okay. Try to relax and not get stressed out because it only makes it harder. Just have fun with your kiddos, love on them, give them hugs, tickles, raspberries, and kisses. Those make the best shots anyway, so relax and enjoy your time with your adorable family. Contact me today to set up your session.
I love this session. This is a full family session, from the beginning of November at the gorgeous Vista West Ranch.
I absolutely adore working with this family, and have had the opportunity to photography them for many years. This year was extra special, as I got to meet the newest member of the family. So precious.
There is SO much effort that goes into this families photos. They work hard to find great locations, color palettes, and they always have a light theme. You can some of their previous family sessions from The Josephine House and from Fonda San Miguel, here and here.
Anyway, enjoy the sweetness!
Full Family Sessions
I adore full family sessions. The really give me time to work with you as a family and fully photograph you in your element. A lot of families think their kids might not last long enough for a full session. The truth is, kids are generally more cooperative in a longer session. They get more time to just run around and be themselves, and get great photos. I find that with photography and working with kids, that patience is really the best skill to getting great photos. Sometimes kids will be kids, and you just have to wait it out. So, if it is something you are interested in, give a full session a try!
