Austin Engagement Photography: Downtown & Zilker Park

I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to photograph Andy & Abby’s Engagement Session. What a fun pair. I have known Abby for ages, she is one of my life long friends’ little sister. So, not only was it amazing to see the love Andy and Abby have for each other, but also to be part of such a special part of their lives’. How wonderful!

Well, we started out downtown. Abby had a couple of ideas of places she wanted to be photographed at. We started there, and then just walked around looking for interesting walls, textures, and colors. There was not a shortage downtown. So many fun places, I think we could have stayed down there all day. Then, we headed to Zilker Park where they frequent with their pups. We caught the sun just as it was going down. Lovely. Then we took a couple late twilight photos down on the hike and bike trail on Lady Bird Lake. Congrats Andy & Abby!!! Can’t wait for the big day!

Austin Family & Children’s Photographer: Long Center: Austin, TX

I’ve had the distinct honor of working with the cutest little twins two weekends in a row! What a great gift, as both families were absolutely adorable, unique, and tons of fun to work with.

I LOVED observing the dynamics of this pair of siblings. I feel like you can really see their little personalities in the photos. Little J was such a character. He was always making funny faces, dancing, and having a good time. Sister Z was a character herself. She was strong, helpful, independent, and curious. She made sure the family stayed hydrated throughout the photo shoot and was always ready to give brother hugs and kisses. Such a sweet little duo.

I truly enjoyed working with this group. Congrats Mom and Dad on an amazingly beautiful family!

Ok, maybe a little overkill on the weeping willow BUT these two were just having a ball in there and looking oh so adorable.

And a little snack on the way to the car. I just thought dad’s expression was great in this one despite the cheese stick!
